Anke Daemgen
studied for her MA and PhD at the Courtauld Institute of
Art in London. Now a freelance curator for the
Nationalgalerie in Berlin, she has co-curated several
20th Century Art exhibitions, including the blockbuster
“Das MoMa in Berlin” (MoMa in Berlin) in 2004-5 and a
retrospective of Pablo Picasso’s work drawn from the
collection of Musée Picasso in Paris. |

Lizzie Darbyshire
gained her MA at the Courtauld Institute of Art where
her research focused on French and British
nineteenth-century fine art. She lived in Paris for
seven years and now works as a freelance lecturer for
NADFAS and other similar organisations. |

Leslie Holden
studied fashion design at Edinburgh and the Royal
College of Art in London. He has worked with some of the
top names in international fashion both in Italy and
London. He is currently completing his PhD with the
University of London and running the Design and Styling
Department of the Amsterdam Fashion Institute. |

Cécile Narbeth
was born in France and lives in London. Her MA at the
Courtauld Institute focused on 20th
Century Fine Art Exhibitions in Britain, France and
Italy, whilst her two-year training at Christie’s
Auctioneers specialised in the Decorative Arts. She has
lectured and guided numerous tours in France and Italy
and is a travel writer and practising designer. |

Hans Smet
is a linguist and freelance editor for BOZAR MUSIC in
Brussels. After University Hans spent ten years in
London and guided many tours in France and Spain. A
teacher at the University of Brussels, he also works as
a translator and copywriter. |
