Friday 2pm: sift facts
from fiction with a guided walk of Avenue
Montaigne better known as "la grande dame
of fashion", the seat of mythical couture
names from Dior to Chanel...See the collections
of Haute Couture legend Yves St Laurent with a
tour of the Fondation Pierre Bergé et Yves St
Laurent. We will let you know if Galeries
Lafayette is running an evening catwalk.

taken locally.
Saturday: an exclusive visit to the Paris atelier of the
evening wear and bridal designer, Nathalie Bourgey-Biron:
Nathalie will share with us her experience of running a
couture workshop in a highly competitive Paris market.
The rest of the morning is spent at Fashion Week Trade Fair
in the Tuileries Gardens, looking at forthcoming trends in
ready-to-wear. In the afternoon we visit some leading stores
on Faubourg St Honoré to illustrate how couture
evolves from concept to customer. Evening at leisure.
Sunday: black dresses and candy striped tops are her signature colours, de-constructing the garment her passion… A Museum expert guides you through the Sonia Rykiel exhibition at Musée de la Mode et du Textile, where the couturier celebrates 40 years of Haute Couture...Tour ends at 12noon.
